Once there was the archetype of a nurturing womb. It offered comfort and assurance. This archetype was a strong and persistent one that lived in the collective human psyche. The loss of this powerful archetype leaves us with a deep sense of isolation and disconnection. These fears drive us, continually leading us in the wrong direction—away from a return to the Archetype of the Womb.

The Archetype of the Womb is that of the container—contained space. Within this alchemical space transmutation occurs.

We often envision ourselves sitting on the outside of an unprotected planet in a dangerous solar system within a meaningless universe. Because of this, we feel acutely alone, at risk and profoundly vulnerable. This is not the truth of our existence.

We are held within countless containers of safety. The earth, our mother, created a variety of systems to enclose us within layers of protection while remaining interactive with our local solar system. Layer upon layer of womb membranes, permeable yet protective, surround and enclose us. This more accurately describes the truth of our existence.

&#160;

It is time to welcome the Archetype of the Womb, the archetype of connectedness, back into our collective consciousness.

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">What is a Focus?</span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">Every experience we have is a “focus” of a certain aspect of Intelligent Infinity wanting to experience itself in different ways. Because Unity if unfocused, <a href="http://divinecosmos.com/index.php?option=com_content&amp;task=category&amp;sectionid=6&amp;id=23&amp;Itemid=36">The RA channel</a> calls these focuses “distortions” of the reality of the Unity. <p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">When we “choose” to have one experience over another, we could say we are “collapsing the wave function.”</span></span></p>

 Listen to this post:

2012 is about unity consciousness. What the heck is that? I like the definition found in The RA Material, also called The Law of One. The Law of One is a group of five books that were channeled in the 80s by Carla Rueckert, Don Elkins, and Jim McCarty. They channeled a group of beings who refer to themselves as RA. Following are various links to this body of work.

What is Unity?

According to the RA Channel, Unity is Intelligent Infinity. Intelligent Infinity is unfocused and undifferentiated allness, the One.

Unity is one giant beating heart. We are that.

Unity is “…the presence of the flow inevitable as a tide of beingness without polarity, without finiteness, the vast and silent all beating outward, outward and inward until all the focuses are complete.”

What is a Focus?

Every experience we have is a “focus” of a certain aspect of Intelligent Infinity wanting to experience itself in different ways. Because Unity if unfocused, The RA channel calls these focuses “distortions” of the reality of the Unity. These individual focuses can be entire lifetimes, experiences within lifetimes, relationships, small events in a day, seconds within a minute—all are focuses of our attention, or our beingness into small “collapsed wave functions.”

What is a collapsed wave function?

A collapsed wave function is the term physicists use to describe how in the quantum realm potentiality exists simultaneously in the form of a wave and a particle. When the wave function “collapses” into a particle it is called the collapsing of the wave function. When this happens one of the many potentialities is allowed to “manifest”.

When we “choose” to have one experience over another, we could say we are “collapsing the wave function.”

We must not be in a state of Unity to have these separated, individuated, focused experiences. Intelligent Infinity has no focus.

The Challenge and Gift of 2012

Coming into awareness that we are unfocused at the same time that we are having deliberate focused experiences is the paradox of 2012. We are always simultaneously the oneness, as well as the separated parts. I can observe myself having these experiences at the same time that I know I am not those experiences. I am at once this me and the all knowing allness.

The focuses are identities I take on to have experience. This is the meaning of Unity Consciousness, not to only be aware of Unity but to also grow into a greater understanding and knowingness of the purpose of focused experience.

Many people also call Unity, Source, especially the Abrahams channeled by Esther Hicks. The Abrahams stress that we are source energy at the same time that we are our individualized “smaller” selves having experience. The experiences we have allow source energy to expand.

Consciously tuning into this whole concept is 2012.

<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="color: #c14d00;"><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">listen to this post:</span></span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="color: #c14d00;"><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;"></span></span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;"> #1</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">Assume there is no such thing as control. Then it will be less surprising when cars swerve off the road or planes fall from the sky. Instead, cultivate awe for the fact that cars stay on the road at all, that drivers agree to keep to their side of the yellow line and stop at red lights. We are on a planet that is spinning within a solar system, which is spiraling through space at 180 miles per second, every minute of every day. In the midst of all this wild movement, isn’t it a miracle that we can stand up?</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">#2</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">Don’t argue over whether life is meaningful or random. It is most elegantly both. Within the deepest, most chaotic meaninglessness there are patterns; patterns which repeat themselves. Within these patterns exist crazy quilt randomness.</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">In a museum in Florence, Italy, you, my eight-year-old daughter, and I looked at paintings of Christ from the Middle Ages. You were not a Christian girl. You were a secular girl. I had told you a few things. You knew you had been created by the earth, by a process called “evolution,” that you are turned over again stardust churned over millions of years, that the Universe had begun with what some called The Big Bang, that time and space were created in that original moment, that before that there was nothing. Still, you often asked me what came before.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">This was not the first time you had seen pictures of Christ hanging on the cross. These were simply the worst ever. His skin, pale gray, hung slack around his protruding bones. Blood spurted from a cut above his right breast.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">“Why are there so many pictures of him dying on the cross?” you asked.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">“They believed,” I replied, “and many still do, that through his death he saved the earth or humanity–us. They believed that he died for us so that we could live, so that we could enter what they called ‘the Gates of Heaven.’”</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">“Well, that’s stupid,” you said. Your little face was scrunched up into a knot, like it got when you were angry about something. Your legs coming out of your cotton yellow shorts were tanned and skinny. You wore a grey T-shirt with colorful flowers on it, and a star necklace your friend had given you. Your bare feet sat upon your red cloth flip-flops. “I do not believe that.”</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">“They believed he was their savior.”</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">“Why?”</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">I frowned. “There had been signs,” I said. “Certain omens.”</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">“What’s an omen?”</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">You looked back at the picture. “Is there an omen there?” you asked. Your long curly hair hung down your back reaching the bottom of your shirt. It was almost white around the hairline where the sun had bleached the small, new forming curls. Against the tanned skin of your face, it looked like a halo.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">At the foot of the cross were two women, crying with their heads bowed. There were angels flying around. They looked like bugs with heads. One of them held up a cup to collect the spurting blood. Two others held the Sacred Heart of Christ forward toward the observer as an offering.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">“Yuck, Mom. Look,” you said, pointing. “What are they going to do with that?”</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">“It’s all symbolic, honey. Don’t take it so seriously.”</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">“I don’t understand what the symbol of someone dead and bleeding could be.”</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">“Try to appreciate them for the art, not the meaning,” I said.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">You looked up at me. I was tired of your questions, yet could feel that you wanted to ask so many more. You didn’t understand any of this. And you thought I did. Though I was no longer a Christian, I had been raised Catholic. You knew this. I did not want the story of Christ’s death to be your story and I had not found another story to tell you. How could I explain this to you?</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">“Who is that?” you asked, pointing to one of the women crying at the foot of the cross.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">“That’s his mother.”</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;"> #3</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">We yearn. Stars burn, smolder, remain molten gushing at the core for eons. The Universe is a reality engaged in acts of great passion. Galaxies wrap their giant arms around each other in consuming embraces. Black holes hungrily swallow everything that comes near them, their most brilliant obsession being light. Planets crave the sun. The moon desires the earth. The earth thickens and sways, wobbles dizzily in the orbit of her attraction. Desire leads us. Heat sustains us. Passion transforms us.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">You had an echocardiogram to assure your dentist your heart murmur was nothing to worry about. That day I understood how it was possible to fall in love with technology. Before, people who fell in love with technology only angered me. But as I stood in the exam room that day, literally seeing the valves of your small heart pulsing, heard its voice, its rhythmic breath whispering, everything changed. Your Sacred Heart was speaking into the room, filling the space with its aching, hopeful presence, full of youth and optimism.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">The voice within me whispered, <em>Inside her is a heart that is beating. Inside her a heart is beating and with each beat it moves her blood, creating circulatory rivers which course through her being, managing her life, sustaining her aliveness.</em></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">In the exam room with a piece of equipment—a compilation of metal and electronic circuits created by human imagination—I was able to see, to listen and be present to the inside of your healthy living body. Naturally, people fell in love with technology. No wonder it had become a household god.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">The technician tapped the keyboard methodically. In cool, calculated movements, she moved the mouse to certain locations on the image of the heart pumping on the screen before her. <em>The best science leads us back to the mystery.</em> She took measurements, gathered information. It was all very routine. It was all very scientific. But I was weeping.</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;"> #4</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">Imagine a Universe devoid of passion. No one wanting anything. Nothing attracted to anything else. No sweet, painful longing. Imagine a Universe involved with detachment, one that chose to rise above its emotions.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">Would a rose ever bloom if it didn’t ache to do so?</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;"> #5</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">The human heart has a large, electromagnetic field, the largest in the body. This field can be perceived across a room by the field of another heart. The electromagnetic field of the heart changes with the emotional state. DNA is affected by the electromagnetic field of the heart, which is generated by emotions. <em>The lives of our hearts can mutate our DNA.</em> Feelings matter.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">In fourth grade you learned about the ancient Egyptians. They believed that after death your heart is measured against Maat’s feather of truth. You and your classmates acted out a scene about meeting the Goddess Maat after death in the place where she sat with her scales. I was in the play. I dressed up as the Goddess Maat and weighed each heart against my feather.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">“Were you true to your heart?” I asked each small child, your friends, as they came to sit across the scales from me. The Egyptians believed the heart has a soul. They called it the Ab—the heart-soul. <em>The soul of your heart is your longing</em>. If you were true to your heart, then it was as light as a feather and you were granted eternal life. If you had not been, and it was heavier than a feather, you were sent to the realm of the demons.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">When the Egyptians mummified people they put a scarab beetle in the place in the body where the heart once lived. Written on it were the words:</span></span></p>
<p><em><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">My heart, my mother</span></span></em></p>
<p><em><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">My heart, my mother</span></span></em></p>
<p><em><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">My heart of my becoming.</span></span></em></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">You approached the scale. You were dressed as an Egyptian. You had a gold headband across your forehead. Underneath hung your long, light brown curls. You wore a white dress tied with a gold sash at the waist. You had the blue eye makeup, kohl, on your eyelids, to protect your eyes from the bright Egyptian sun. You looked at me from under those blue lids, your brown eyes full of wonder as you placed your heart on the scales. The heart that had grown within me. <em>My heart, my mother.</em> The heart I had once felt beating in rhythm with mine.<em> My heart, my mother</em>. The heart that was now on its own, this most precious sacred heart, the main compass we can use along this journey. <em>My heart of my becoming.</em> You placed your heart on the scale.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">I, the Goddess Maat, looked at you.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;"> “Were you true to your heart?&#8221; I asked. “Were you true to your passion?”</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;"> #6</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande'; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">Always be true to the soul of your heart.</span></span></p>

Assume there is no such thing as control. In the midst of all this wild movement, isn’t it a miracle that we can stand up?
#2
Don’t argue over whether life is meaningful or random. It is most elegantly both. Within the deepest, most chaotic meaninglessness there are patterns; patterns which repeat themselves. Within these patterns exist crazy quilt randomness.
In a museum in Florence, Italy, you, my eight-year-old daughter, and I looked at paintings of Christ from the Middle Ages. Still, you often asked me what came before.
This was not the first time you had seen pictures of Christ hanging on the cross. These were simply the worst ever. His skin, pale gray, hung slack around his protruding bones. Blood spurted from a cut above his right breast.

“Why are there so many pictures of him dying on the cross?” you asked.

“They believed,” I replied, “and many still do, that through his death he saved the earth or humanity–us. They believed that he died for us so that we could live, so that we could enter what they called ‘the Gates of Heaven.’”

“Well, that’s stupid,” you said. “I do not believe that.”

“They believed he was their savior.”

“Why?”

I frowned. “There had been signs,” I said. “Certain omens.”

“What’s an omen?”

You looked back at the picture. “Is there an omen there?” you asked. Your long curly hair hung down your back reaching the bottom of your shirt. It was almost white around the hairline where the sun had bleached the small, new forming curls. Against the tanned skin of your face, it looked like a halo.

At the foot of the cross were two women, crying with their heads bowed. There were angels flying around. They looked like bugs with heads. One of them held up a cup to collect the spurting blood. Two others held the Sacred Heart of Christ forward toward the observer as an offering.

“Yuck, Mom. Look,” you said, pointing. “What are they going to do with that?”

“It’s all symbolic, honey. Don’t take it so seriously.”

“I don’t understand what the symbol of someone dead and bleeding could be.”

“Try to appreciate them for the art, not the meaning,” I said.

You looked up at me. How could I explain this to you?

“Who is that?” you asked, pointing to one of the women crying at the foot of the cross.

“That’s his mother.”

<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Palatino; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">Many people are asking me what I think <a href="http://www.ritualgoddess.com/the2012vortex/?p=67">2012</a> is all about. Since I followed <a href="http://www.ritualgoddess.com/the2012vortex/?p=193">Carl Johan Calleman’s</a> timeline which ended the calendar on October 28, 2011, for me the event of 2012 has already happened. The “newness” of 2012 is already here. The more I experience this year the more I believe that this is true. 2012 is, as <a href="http://www.ritualgoddess.com/the2012vortex/?p=193">Calleman</a> predicted, a time of integration of all the new energy that has moved in.</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Palatino; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">It’s time to start looking around at what is already here rather than waiting for something to happen on December 21, 2012. It is time to actually live our lives in that different way rather than saying: “when it happens, when it comes, it will be like…”</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Palatino; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">The truth is, we are now on a new path forward. We have graduated and are on the new trajectory. We can create that which we want. In fact, we have already created it. It’s here. Make it a practice to begin to notice it and welcome it in.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Palatino; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">Some helpful hints for integrating the energy of 2012:</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Palatino; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">**Be clear with your intentions and deliberate with your actions**</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Palatino; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">**Align yourself to the greater good and, as often as possible, offer your energy in service to others**</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Palatino; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">**Avoid the temptation to bring old ways of thinking to this new experience**</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Palatino; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">**Stay open and observe what is, not what you expect or think is there**</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Palatino; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">We still have a great deal of karmic “purging” to do. This will arise within all of us. If we are committed to this new energy and are willing to get “down in the dirt” with what’s left to take care of, it cleans up pretty nicely.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Palatino; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">Say &#8220;Yes&#8221; to 2012.</span></span></p>
